School Life

  • Cross Community

Mount St Michael's is involved in a number of inter school projects that aim to support an understanding of difference in and beyond our own community.

To this end we have established links with Central Primary School, children in years four, five, six and seven work together developing their understanding of aspects of the curriculum.

We are also part of the Antrim Good Relations Group of schools.

This year Primary Five classes have established a link with a school in County Carlow as part of the Dissolving Boundaries programme.

We are also part of the Connecting Classrooms cluster which as facilitated the development of links with schools in Ethiopia and Sudan.

These activities are aimed at broadening the experiences our children have and encourage them to discover the rich diversity that exists in our own country and beyond.
