World Mental Health Day in P3A

10th Oct 2024
P3A are having a lovely morning. As part of our World Mental Health Day, we discussed how we need to look after our mental health and unlike a toothache or an earache, we can also feel sad or worried inside.
We learned that it is always important to tell people how we feel and how it is good to have someone to talk to.
We listened to everyone express what they enjoy doing. Next, we watched a short video of a young boy doodling on the shop window of M&S. The 'Doodle Boy', was showing us how to have fun.
Afterwards, the children got to doodle what makes them happy. They are now going to discuss their doodles with their friends and explain what makes them feel happy.
To make it an even nicer morning, the children got to eat a lovely treat while they worked.
We are having a happy, yellow morning indeed!
You might want to grab a pencil with your child this evening and doodle what makes you happy together.
Have a lovely day,
P3A.
